RAJASTHAN · MUKUNDARA HILLS

Enter the Wild

Where forests, rivers and ancient wilderness meet — a landscape where the wild still writes its own rules.

SCROLL TO EXPLORE

Some places are visited.
Others are experienced.

Mukundara Hills Tiger Reserve sits where the Vindhya and Aravalli ranges dissolve into one another — a folded landscape of sal and dhok forest, sandstone gorges, and rivers that have carried tigers, gharial and empire alike for centuries.

This is Rajasthan without the postcard filter. Rarer. Quieter. Wilder.

THE LAND BEYOND THE MAP

A reserve carved by rivers, held by stone.

Declared Rajasthan's second tiger reserve, Mukundara links the ravines of the Chambal to the dry deciduous forests of Darrah and Jawahar Sagar — a single, unbroken wild corridor rarely photographed and rarely crowded. Every valley here still carries the memory of the Hada rulers who once hunted its ridgelines, and the wildlife that quietly reclaimed them.
